En este contexto, el ciclo de cine de terror asi\u00e1tico propone una plataforma acad\u00e9mica para examinar c\u00f3mo las industrias culturales contempor\u00e1neas reinterpretan las cosmolog\u00edas tradicionales sobre la muerte, los ancestros y lo sobrenatural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lejos de ser un mero ejercicio de consumo cultural, el cine de terror en Asia funciona como un espacio de articulaci\u00f3n entre modernidad, religiosidad popular, trauma hist\u00f3rico y transformaciones sociales. Las cinematograf\u00edas de Taiw\u00e1n, Corea del Sur, Tailandia e Indonesia han desarrollado un lenguaje propio que combina folklore local con preocupaciones contempor\u00e1neas como la urbanizaci\u00f3n, las crisis familiares, la medicalizaci\u00f3n del cuerpo y la p\u00e9rdida de comunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ciclo permite un an\u00e1lisis comparado de distintas tradiciones culturales donde la relaci\u00f3n con los muertos mantiene una fuerte presencia social. En di\u00e1logo con el Qingming, las obras seleccionadas muestran c\u00f3mo la muerte se concibe no como ruptura absoluta, sino como continuidad relacional mediada por rituales, ofrendas y pr\u00e1cticas de memoria.
